Want to work for the Farmers Market voted #1 in Missouri and #3 in the nation by the American Farmland Trust? The Ferguson Farmers Market is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized individual to serve as Market Manager. Our Market Manager is responsible for managing the weekly operations of the Market. The successful candidate will be an effective and diplomatic organizer and with initiative, creativity, and an understanding of food security principles; and an adept public speaker with strong outreach, organizational, financial, marketing, and project management skills. Qualifications: Experience in marketing and promotions; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; exceptional creativity, ingenuity, and proficiency in oral and written communications; strong attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities at once; experience in coordinating special events and multi-faceted promotions; energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to generate interest in the market with a variety of audiences. Individuals who live, or worked or studied in the Ferguson area are especially encouraged to apply. SATURDAYS a must. Hours: 20-25 per week during season (April – October). 5-8 per week off season. We will continue to strive to make your Ferguson farmers market the number one destination on Saturday mornings, and we thank you for being a part of the fun, festive, family atmosphere this year. The WINTER MARKET SEASON continues on Dec. 21st, 9am till noon, in the St. Stephens parish hall at 33 North Clay Avenue, 63135. Some of your favorite vendors will be at the market bringing you the freshest and highest quality products. You’ll find farmers, meat vendors, bakeries, and more at the indoor market this season.
