We’re celebrating the return of the outdoor market to the Plaza at 501 S. Florissant this Saturday, May 4, from 8am-Noon with many vendors you know and love and several new ones, too!  This Saturday, May the Fourth be with you!  We will have:  Photo opps with Darth Vader and Stormtrooper, a photo booth, Star Wars crafts, Star Wars Cookies and treats for sale. Free cups of blue “Bantha Milk”, Star Wars rings, and rub-on tattoos for kids – Costumes encouraged – kids and adults!   Christian Hospital with Stroke Awareness information and free blood pressure screenings.   Live Music by McKendree University Jazz Combo   New vendors, including Howie Farms, Sugar Plum Punk Bakery, Salvadoran Pupusas and returning vendors, including EarthDance Farms, Alpacas of Troy, Bon Vivant, and more! Ferguson Farmers’ Market Partnering with Tower Grove Farmers’ Market

Tower Grove Farmers’ Market (TGFM) today announced its new partnership with the award-winning Ferguson Farmers’ Market. The collaboration represents an exciting and important new iteration for TGFM, as an organization offering infrastructure to other farmers’ markets in the region. “Our partnership will sustain the Ferguson Farmers’ Market’s proven success,” said Patrick Horine, who in 2006 co-founded Tower Grove Farmers’ Market with his wife, Jennifer Ryan. “When parallel farmers’ markets work together, we can provide for our communities and expand upon what it means to be a good neighbor.” Founded in 2002, the Ferguson Farmers’ Market began its 2018 season with a strategic move to Plaza 501, which improved the shopping experience.  Jeffrey Blume, Ferguson’s Interim City Manager, applauds the partnership as a win-win for all involved. “Patrick Horine and the folks behind the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market bring more than thirteen years of operational and managerial experience, which will infuse our beloved Ferguson Farmers’ Market with new ideas and new energy,” said Blume.
